The challenge
The space constraints of the small plant room located to the laundry room presented an interesting challenge for PHD Mechanical when conducting the design. Thus our design team needed to come up with a creative solution.

We after listing to the client’s needs and tacking into account current regulations selected the following main equipment:-

Heatra Sadia unvested hot water cylinder
Grundfoss Magna A rated circulation pumps
Base Under floor heating manifold
Grundfoss cold water booster
Logitech water softener
Heatmiser control system
The property not only has leading equipment but the installed system exceeded all current efficiency expectations. The property has under floor heating throughout the ground floor with radiators to the first and second floors. Towel rails to all bathrooms are controlled independently from the heating known as summer rails. Hot and cold is delivered softened and maintained pumped constant 2.0 bar pressure throughout.
